Carmen San Jose Theatre reviews
It doesn't get any better...
Adam Duritz and the boys of Augustana were truly amazing and let's not forget to mention the awesome performance by NOTAR. Even having to work the small confines of our little rotating disc in Westbury, they switched approx. 18 musicians like a swiss watch. The energy level was through the roof for 3 hours and the place rocked! Augustana played a few new songs from their forthcoming CD and sounded incredible. NOTAR had everyone head-banging with some really solid rap tunes and with Jim Bogios of CC's on drums, it was incredible. Dan Layus and the Carmen were at the top of their game. For all you Augustana and CC fans, it doesn't get any better than this performance. If anyone is not familiar with Augustana, you're missing one of the best kept secrets in rock n' roll. Check them out on this tour before it's too late or you will have truly missed a classic and astounding collaboration.
